A partial confession…

House Intelligence chair Nunes says ‘normal foreign surveillance’ may have snared Trump – Raw Story

Oh goodness.  As you can guess, this has sent brain-dead Liberals everywhere into convulsions.  There have been the expected responses by the usual suspects that are full of conjecture and not a shred of actual evidence.

Some interesting tidbits buried in this article:

House Intelligence head Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) confirmed on Wednesday that President-elect Trump and his team were surveilled between Election Day and Inauguration Day.

“This information was legally brought to me by sources who thought we should know it,” Nunes said. There were, he said, “dozens of reports, but no mention of Russia.”

Interesting wording here on the part of Nunes.  “The information was legally brought to me…”.   This almost sounds like an agent or agents bypassed the chain of command and brought the info to Nunes directly.  But most importantly, this statement is in direct opposition to the statements made by FBI Director James Comey, who stated under oath that there had been NO surveillance of Donald Trump.  Equally important, this demolishes the months long straw man used by the Fake News Media that Donald Trump is a Russian puppet.

Nunes then confirms that the information was illegally leaked:

Nunes said that the information was collected in “incidental surveillance” that was conducted as part of a routine investigation. However, the information was leaked and the individuals involved were “unmasked” and the information disseminated through the intelligence community (IC), he said.

But it gets even more interesting: (this section is a bit of a bombshell, and consequently, nobody in the Fake News Media is reporting it.)

“And I’ll tell you, NSA is being cooperative,” Nunes continued, “but so far the FBI has not told us whether or not they’re going to respond to our March 15th letter, which is now a couple of weeks old.”

Nunes also reported that as of now, he “cannot rule out” President Obama ordering the surveillance.

And contrary to earlier media reports, Nunes clarified that the surveillance was not related to the FBI’s investigation into possible collusion with Russia. This surveillance, he emphasized to reporters, does not “have anything to do with Russia.”

So the FBI is illegally ignoring Congress’ demand for information.  That doesn’t seem suspicious at all.  Then Nunes’ second statement!  “cannot rule out” Obama ordering the surveillance.  But perhaps the last bit is the most damning.  The surveillance does not “have anything to do with Russia”.  So Trump was just being surveilled because….?   Rhetorical question of course, but one that needs to be asked of several people.

This whole thing is becoming far more interesting, especially in contrast with the fucking insult that the Democrats and James Comey inflicted upon us during the Congressional hearing on Monday where both sides read off of a pre-agreed upon script.
