I say “8 years” because if she gets in, she won’t leave after 4. Or more likely, her communist heir Tim Kaine will be there for 8 years after Hillary steps down due to her worsening Parkinson’s.
But I digress.
Another foreign policy failure for the Obama Administration:
Obama Admin Stunned By Duterte: “The Minute You Say Something, He Lets Loose His Barrage Of Obscenities” – Zero Hedge
In one of the most shocking US foreign policy failures, and there have been many in the past 8 years, a long-time ally of the US, the Philippines, announced yesterday that it was seeking “separation” from the US and was looking for an alliance with Putin. As we reported yesterday, outspoken president Duterte, during his visit to Beijing for which Xi, announced his “separation” from the United States, declaring he had realigned with China as the two agreed to resolve their South China Sea dispute through talks.
“In this venue, your honours, in this venue, I announce my separation from the United States,” Duterte told Chinese and Philippine business people, to applause, at a forum in the Great Hall of the People attended by Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli. “Both in military, not maybe social, but economics also. America has lost.”
“I’ve realigned myself in your ideological flow and maybe I will also go to Russia to talk to (President Vladimir) Putin and tell him that there are three of us against the world – China, Philippines and Russia. It’s the only way,” Duterte told his Beijing audience.
The White House was taken completely surprise by Duterte’s announcement.
So Duterte is now aligning with China which is an enormous win for China and their ambitions in the South China Sea. Duterte has clarified that he’ll allow normal economic activity between the U.S. and Philippines continue, but diplomatically they no longer consider themselves an ally of the U.S.
Duterte is a smart man with an excellent track record as a leader prior to taking the top role in the Philippines. He can see that America is slipping into the depths of the NWO’s pit of despair and wants no part of it. Besides, the Philippines received almost nothing in return for allowing the presence of U.S. military bases for decades. To agitate the Philippine’s government even further, there’s evidence that we provided support to the Islamic separatists in the South. We took and took and we gave nothing to a country that’s not only the poorest in Asia, but one that’s dealing with millions of drug addicts.
China on the other hand just gave the Philippines a 9 billion dollar soft loan for infrastructure. This is something China has been doing for several poor allies in the region. While the U.S. is building military bases on foreign land, China is building roads, bridges and railroads.
Duterte is determined to reclaim the sovereignty of his country. I hate to use the term “maverick” but Duterte is indeed a bit of a maverick. He answers to no one and is a genuine patriot. Unfortunately, those are the kinds of world leaders that tend to have an expiration date, especially when Hillary Clinton is involved.
