Well how about that…

A major news outlet finally acknowledged what I’ve been saying for over a year now:

Military Success in Syria Gives Putin Upper Hand in U.S. Proxy War – NY Times

Emphasis of course on the last three words.

As always, the first step in solving a problem is to acknowledge it.  Now if we can only get the American people to understand that we’re the aggressors, that we’re the bad guys and that this President and the people who control him are driving us towards World War 3.

So what’s happening in this war?  ISIS is losing to Russia.  ISIS are our guys, right?  So this must be bad news.  They call them the “rebels” of course:

But then the Russians arrived, bludgeoning C.I.A.-backed rebel forces with an air campaign that has sent them into retreat. And now rebel commanders, clinging to besieged neighborhoods in the divided city of Aleppo, say their shipments of C.I.A.-provided antitank missiles are drying up.

Those “rebels” consist of Al Qaeda, Al Nusra and ISIS.  Your government is giving those three groups (via the CIA) firepower paid with your tax dollars.

But maybe we should listen to what Barry has to say:

But even Mr. Obama has expressed wariness about an enduring deal with Moscow. “I’m not confident that we can trust the Russians or Vladimir Putin,” Mr. Obama said at a news conference on Thursday. “Whenever you are trying to broker any kind of deal with an individual like that or a country like that, you have got to go in there with some skepticism.”

Golly.  I wonder what Putin thinks of you, Barry?  How dare he promise his people to fight terrorism and then actually fight terrorism as opposed to funding it.

And just as an aside, perhaps you should bring some of that same skepticism to the table the next time you’re fleeced by the Iranians.
