I actually agree with the “wait and see” approach that the Obama Administration is taking with aid to Egypt. But it’s funny that when the Muslim Brotherhood was in charge of Egypt, we couldn’t send those F-16’s over there fast enough.
After Vice President Joe Biden revealed that SEAL Team 6 carried out the operation that killed Osama bin Laden in May 2011, Strange said the members of his son’s team gave startling indications to their families they were about to meet their demise.
Charles Strange, the father of slain SEAL Michael Strange, told Savage Wednesday night that in June 2011, on at least three separate occasions his son grabbed him by the bicep and announced that he had prepared his will.
The bewildered father finally was able to find out what it all meant.
Michael Strange, his father recalled, said, “Something’s going on with the team. Somebody’s leaking things out. Something’s going on.”
Savage, reacting with emotion, asked: “Your son knew he was being sent to his death?”
“They knew,” Strange replied. “They knew something was up. Every one of them.”
There’s very little that I can add to this. I’ve been told that where there’s smoke, there’s fire but nothing beyond that.
The U.S. government has demanded that major Internet companies divulge users’ stored passwords, according to two industry sources familiar with these orders, which represent an escalation in surveillance techniques that has not previously been disclosed.
If the government is able to determine a person’s password, which is typically stored in encrypted form, the credential could be used to log in to an account to peruse confidential correspondence or even impersonate the user. Obtaining it also would aid in deciphering encrypted devices in situations where passwords are reused.
If you haven’t noticed, the Federal government wants to know every single thing you do both online and offline and what they currently can’t get, they’re in the process of building the infrastructure for. I realize that everyone is busy protesting important stuff like Trayvon, but perhaps having a semblance of a private life is worth it for a few million of us to march on D.C.
Make no mistake, this is the infrastructure and behavior of a totalitarian government.
The Democratic Party is battling scandals from New York to San Diego and from city hall to Capitol Hill, as the party finds itself on the defensive over embarrassing lapses ranging from sexual misconduct to multiple scandals ensnaring the Obama administration.
President Obama on Wednesday denounced what he called “phony scandals” and “an endless parade of distractions” blocking progress on the economy and other issues, but critics say the controversies underscore the missed opportunities for the president and his party to live up to pledges to clean up politics and break traditional patterns of money, influence and privilege in government.
These decadent bastards are so drunk on their own power that they don’t even try to hide it any longer. In the past six years the Dems have actually managed to make the Republicans look like a semi-honorable group.
Missouri College Republicans State Treasurer Courtney Scott told Campus Reform on Thursday that an unidentified police officer told the group they were barred from the event for “security reasons and for the president’s protection.”
“You will not be allowed any further,” the officer allegedly told the group of six College Republicans, dressed in republican and tea party clothing, as they attempted to enter the event.
Scott said each member of the group had a ticket to enter the event and that they arrived early complying with all rules.
Just one more example in the trend of this administration treating those who disagree with them as enemies.
For a very long time, the scientific community has been wary of studying UFOs, and the scientists themselves hesitate to talk about their beliefs of unexplained aerial phenomena.
But that attitude is changing, and many scientists are joining the discussion without fear of ridicule.
“UFOs are real phenomena. They are artificial objects under intelligent control. They’re definitely the craft of a supremely advanced technology,” says physicist Eric Davis, a researcher of light-speed travel.
I have to be a bit careful what I share here so I apologize in advance if some of what I say here is interpreted as a tease, it’s not my intention. My intention is to not get a phone call from an angry friend (or worse).
The United States is actually the exception to the rule in terms of it being socially unacceptable for scientists to study the UFO phenomenon. In Latin America where sightings are frequent, scientific discussion of the phenomenon is not typically the target of ridicule. In China, there are several official organizations dedicated to the study of UFO’s that are comprised of the top scientists in the country. In the late 90’s, several ex-members of France’s government and military leadership released the “Cometa Report” which candidly discussed the behavior of UFOs and their most likely origins. The United States, far more so than any other country, treats the topic as one worthy of derision and ridicule. I should add that this is not a simple matter of chance or coincidence.
While this atmosphere prevents American scientists from openly researching the topic, it does not prevent clandestine research. I can share with you that there are at least three American physicists who are household names that privately research the UFO phenomenon. The former Minister of Defense of Canada announced publically a few years ago that the objects are real.
It’s important to state that the existence of UFO’s and the nature of UFO’s are two entirely separate things. Something skeptics frequently forget. I will submit to you that no person who takes an objective look at the evidence can honestly state that the phenomenon is not real. It is simply impossible for a rational human being to look at the mountain of evidence and say that they do not exist in droves.
If you are skeptical, I would strongly suggest picking up a book written by a cold-war historian named Richard Dolan entitled UFOs and the National Security State.
Alright, back to the political muck.
MSNBC’s Ed Schultz: Detroit bankruptcy the result of Republican policies – Washington Examiner
“Michigan used to be a symbol of industrial strength in manufacturing in this country. But thanks to a lot of Republican policies, the city is now filing for bankruptcy,” he claimed.
“Make no mistake, Detroit is exactly what the Republicans want,” he added. “They outsourced manufacturing jobs, attack unions, cut public services, and this is the result. Now they can wipe the slate clean because now they can start privatizing city assets.”
Ed, you forgot to take your medication for the past ten years. The record shows the city of Detroit being run exclusively by Democrats for the last 51 years and the previous regime (including the mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick) is in jail on corruption charges.
It must be nice being a Democrat. Nothing is ever your fault when it goes horribly wrong and you never have to listen to anyone that disagrees with you because they’re always either stupid, extremist or racist (or a combination of all three, of course).
